Welcome to Kansanshi Events, responsible for hosting several popular sporting events each year for the benefit of the Solwezi community and any visitors to Solwezi.  Our affiliation to Kansanshi Cycling means that most of our events are related to cycling; however we also host a mini-sprint triathlon and we are now offering a new Kansanshi Marathon event since 2023.

Our events are open to all.  They run thanks to the support of Kansanshi Mining PLC, First Quantum Mining Operations and other generous sponsors.  The event entry fees that we charge help towards the running costs involved and also go towards supporting the Kansanshi Cycling Development team, as well as our outreach programs around Solwezi.
